How quickly can you deliver a reefer container?
Most units deliver within 48 hours for standard configurations in KZN. Gauteng and other regions typically within 3–5 working days depending on unit availability and transport logistics.
Do I need three-phase power?
Not necessarily. We supply units compatible with both three-phase and single-phase power. For remote sites without reliable grid access, we can configure generator-compatible setups. We'll confirm the power spec during the site assessment.
What's the difference between SLV1, SLV2, and SLV3?
SLV1 is basic rental — you get the unit, we deliver it. SLV2 includes planned maintenance visits. SLV3 is the full package — planned servicing, priority emergency callout, and guaranteed response times. Most food and pharma clients are on SLV2 or SLV3.
Can I rent short-term for an event or seasonal peak?
Yes. We do monthly rental with no long-term lock-in. Scale up for citrus season, a food festival, or a construction project, then scale back down. The unit gets collected when you're done.
What happens during load-shedding?
Every AquaCat unit can be configured for generator compatibility. We know what South African power infrastructure looks like — that's why generator-ready setups are standard, not an add-on. We'll confirm the right spec during your site assessment.
Do you have enough units for December peak season?
Yes — our fleet is built for it. During off-season, units return to our depot, fully serviced and ready to redeploy. So when December and January hit — event season, cultural celebrations, increased food production — we have the inventory depth to handle the surge. Most of the fleet goes out during peak. Talk to us early so we can schedule your delivery and get the right spec sorted before the rush.
